you got it you got it
some kind of magic, hypnotic, hypnotic
you're leaving my breathless
jayden was a weird girl. on saturdays instead of sleeping in like most teenagers she knew did, she was one of those girls that was up by six thirty on saturdays, even if she didn't have any stylist related duties to do that day. but there she was, almost twelve, up and awake. she was sitting on the couch, reading her book, her iPod headphones in her ears, and a bowl of cereal in her lap as well. taking a bite of her cherrios, she placed the spoon back into the bowl that was at her side. she took her phone and glanced at it. she wanted to text her brother pierce and ask him if he wanted to hang out that day. but she was dead certain he wouldn't be up till noon at the earliest. she though tit was funny how they were twins, and yet they were so different. sure, she had only woken up an hour befor ehe normally wuold wake up, but jayden normally would wake up in the early hours of the morning, before the sun was even up. seven was her normal town.
she was reading the vampire diaries, and so far she was enjoying it. sure, she was only in the first few chapters, so that was bound to change. she grabbed her blue ipod that lay on the couch besides her to change the song. the minute she heard the song february air by lights playing, she decided to keep it on that song. she didn't feel like having to change it constantly to find a song she could deal with. putting her ipod on her lap, she reached up, almost ready to change the page.but just as she was about to turn the page, she felt her phone go off beside her. pulling her headphones out, she saw that garret texted her. smiling, she picked up her phone, glancing at his text. her and garret had dated previously, surprisingly, and they still remained friends, which had been nice. recently they had started talking a lot again, though she wasn't really sure why. she didn't mind though; even though garret was... well, simply put, her opposite, they managed to get along well. at the moment, everything was going good between them; they talked constantly, and hung out a lot at each others apartments.
she texted him back, and that went on for quite a bit. there was a break in the texts, so jayden decided to continue with her book. he had probably gotten kelley or one of the all for dayna guys to get him out of his place. but just as soon as she was starting to read again, her phone went off again, another text. she glanced at the screen, reading the small words. he wanted to go out? smiling slightly, she texted him back quickly. yes, she would love to go out tonight. they'd been hanging out recently, and for some reason, even though they were completely different from each other, she liked hanging out with him. she really wasn't sure why. she made friends with the weirdest of people, she had to admit. placing her phone down on the couch, she went back to her cereal, trying to eat it quickly, but without choking on one of her cheerios. picking up her book, she decided that she could read and eat at the same time when she realized she had one more text. grabbing her phone, she chewed on her cheerios thoughtfully as she read his text. shoot, he was going to be there in about an hour? well that sure as heck killed her plans.
she sighed, brushing her blond hair out of her face as she stood up. she might as well have taken a shower now. heading into the kitchen quickly, she dropped the bowl into the sink and poured some water into it as she decided whether to wash them or not. in the end, she just shut the sink water off and went to the bathroom to take her own shower. grabbing a change of clothes from the basket of freshly washed and dried clothing, she grabbed a towel as well as she walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her with her foot. as she walked past the sink, she glanced at herself in the mirror. gosh, she looked awful. she rarely ever freshened up when she had just woken up. she would have to fix that. she looked absolutely dead at the moment. shaking her head as her reflection, she stripped out of her pajamas as she turned on the shower to feel the hot water flowing down from the shower head. stepping in, she relaxed slightly, deciding to take her time. as she shampooed her hair, she started to think really. normally she never really thought about important or relevant things. she often thought about when she should take savannah out shopping with her to figure out what to wear, especially for the guys. right now, she was just thinking about how her and garret had been hanging out a lot. hell, she had a right to. he was technically her first real boyfriend, so it would be natural that she wonder why they were talking and hanging out again, right? she knew he'd gotten back together with his ex girlfriend grace, but apparently that was no more. it had been a while since she heard that to. she really wasn't too sure. she didn't want to think she was just his rebound, because hell, she had really liked him when they had dated. she was just going to give him the benefit of the doubt. she didnt' want to think of him in any negative light. she just wasn't that kind of girl.
half an hour passed too quickly. she realized that she only had half an hour left to get ready, and here she was getting soaked in hot water. turning off the shower, she quickly dried herself off as she got out of the bathroom. she relaxed slightly as she plugged her blowdryer in. there was no need to rush all this and then end up slipping on water and making everything worse. she got changed, this time slowly; she already had almost slipped as she tried to put on her jeans. grabbing her blowdryer, she started it up, but not before she remembered something. running out to the living room, she grabbed her ipod, unplugging the headphones from it as she came back towards the bathroom. plugging it into her ihome, she turned it on. she hated doing her hair without music. she got so bored while doing it, it was kind of pathetic. she could swear, more than likely she would fall asleep while doing her hair if she didn't have music to keep her entertained while she did her hair.
twenty some minutes later, she was pretty much ready. she glanced at herself in the mirror, thankful that at least now she did not look as dead as she had nearly an hour ago. grabbing her ipod off her ihome and heading into the living room, she reached over the couch to grab her phone. good timing too. seeing her phone flash, she looked at the text that was now on her phone, reading the words "i'm here". it took her a minute to realize that it was in deed garret texting her saying he was there. shaking her head at how slow she was being his morning, she headed towards the hall closet to grab her shoes, saying she'd be right out. shoving her feet into her black flats, she quickly grabbed her jacket as she shoved her phone into the pocket of her skinny jeans. grabbing the keys off the table, she hurried towards the door, pulling it open slowly, so as to not show him how much of a hurry she was in. closing the door behind her, she locked it just before heading down the walk way towards his car. tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, she reached down to open the door to the passenger side of the car. giving him a smile, she closed the door behind her. "hey, garret." turning her head to him, she looked at him curiously. "so. i'm trusting you to have an idea for what we're doing today?"
