Winter stretched as she rolled out of bed. She hadn't been sleeping, simply laying. She had been out last night and had came back to the apartment she shared with Noah a couple of hours ago. She wanted to fall asleep, but it didn't look like it was happening any time soon. She just couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard she tried. She rolled around for a good hour before she decided she was going to get up and move around. Getting out of bed, she made her way to the bathroom. She undressed and showered. She loved having Noah as her roommate. She could take as long of a shower as she wanted and there was no one banging on the door. Plus whenever she needed in, he never took longer than five minutes. It worked out pretty well.
A lot of the press was skeptical about the two rooming together. There were rumors about Winnie and Noah but there were also rumors about Noah and Leena and Win and the other guys. It couldn't be avoided and not like the band did anything to lessen it. If anything, they made matters worse. Noah and Leena messed around on stage causing people to wonder and Noah and Win lived together which was something in itself. Not that any of them really cared. If they had they would have stopped it all by now. It was just too much fun confusing the press and the fans and everyone else along with them.
She finished her shower and stepped out, wrapping herself in a towel. She rummaged through the bathroom closet, pulling out her lotions and perfumes. Along with them came what appeared to be Noah's stash. She raised an eyebrow. Win was used to him hiding it in random places, but never in her things. She shrugged and moved it to one of his drawers after drawing a smiley face on it with her eyeliner. She then moved from the bathroom to her room to get ready. She got dressed and blow dried her hair. She looked herself over in the mirror and frowned, not satisfied with what she was wearing.
Winter changed four times before she was happy with her choice. She slipped on the charm bracelet she always wore. Winter never did anything without it on. It was her lucky charm. She applied her makeup quickly and looked at the time. She was running late. They had a sound check in a half hour and she was never going to make it on time. Well, then again it was a normal thing for her or any of the others to be late. Kenzie actually started giving them earlier times so they would make it when they were actually supposed to be there. She left her room and heard no sound from Noah in the apartment. She wasn't sure if he had already left yet, but she pounded on his door anyway, just in case. "Noah! Sound check time babe, you in there?!" She shrugged, still not knowing if he were in there or not.
She grabbed her bag and left their apartment. She quickly got in her car and made her way to the amphitheatre they would be playing at. Reaching the Hollywood Bowl, she parked her car and headed in through the back. People were running around, getting equipment set up and turning on lights and talking amongst themselves. She smirked as she walked past everyone and made her way straight to the stage. It was all open and one of her favorites. She took in a deep breath and found herself at her drum set. It was baby blue, her favorite color. She pulled out her drumsticks and twirled them around in her fingers. She was the first one here from what she saw. It was a little unusual, her being first. But there was a first time for everything. TAG ?! Noah, Leena, open WORDS ?! 659 STATUS ?! finished <3 NOTES ?! hi band mates! love you! OUTFIT ?! clickme!CREDIT ?! Hey it's SHMEY! @ caution 2.0

&& I KNOW YOUR TYPE, BOY YOU'RE DANGEROUSshe's got a way with the boys in the place; - - TREAT 'EM LIKE THEY DON'T STAND A CHANCE - -
Oh good lord, she was running late. Yes, that's right ladies and gentleman, for the first time in her life... Leena was late. Normally she was the first one to arrive, she was always so afraid of being late that she ended up worrying so much that she actually ended up a good twenty minutes early. Today was that exception. Now, what had kept her, you ask? A phone call. Normally when Sebastian called her (which might I add, was every day since she moved to America) it was a short conversation, a quick "How's it going" and such, but today the two had got caught up in joking and laughter as Sebastian gave in detail the family things that she had missed since she had been away. It was days like this, that made her miss home. She had only planned on spending a mere fifteen minutes on the phone, but it turned into more like forty. This being said, she gotten into the shower a lot later then planned.
By the time she was out of the shower she had used up another fifteen minutes and had no time to let it dry naturally as she normally would. Instead she blew dry it and when it was dry enough, she maneuvered a curling iron through it for her normal down and curled look. The rest of the time she had been in her apartment that early day, was filled with putting on lotion, perfume and settling on an outfit. Outfits were the hardest thing for Leena to decide on... she usually ended up changing a few times before she was satisfied. Leena normally had a hard time looking too.. normal. Too.. similar; she craved a little more style.. a little more indie and vintage; she tossed on a few articles of jewelry to accompany the ring that never leaves her right ring ringer. It was a silver claddagh ring set with a small purple gem, a gift from her father when she turned sixteen.
Finally she was ready to leave. She had rushed out the front door, locking it behind her... and two seconds later she was running back into the apartment and back towards her bedroom to reach for the black leather guitar case that held her baby. That beautiful black Gibson guitar that meant the world to her; she refused to use any other, even though she had been offered. One the case was in her grasp, she was running back down the stars and out towards her car. Quickly beginning to drive out towards the Hollywood Bowl, a cigarette clutched in one hand; a quick fix to get her through the next few hours. All the while cursing herself for being so late!
Once she arrived, she parked and made her way through the building, clutching that guitar case like it was the most important thing the world had ever seen. She stopped a time or two, for a quick conversation or for a direction as to what to do later. It wasn't long before she was moving right on to the stage where she noticed Winter. By the looks of it, Winter was the only one here. So, suppose she wasn't too late. Winter was her closest friend in the band. Granted, Leena and Noah were close too, and she was close with the other members of the band but. Girls had to stick together, right? "Well hey there babe!" she smiled as she moved down stage, placing the leather guitar case and opening it up. She lifted the guitar up, and glanced back over at the girl. "Leave it to the boys to be late." she laughed lightly as she slipped the zebra stripped strap over her shoulder, and began to toy with the strings to tune it.

you don't know me come on :: come on you owe me nothing ================
Well, it had been an eventful evening for the lead singer of Winter Pursuit. Noah had the apartment to himself as Winter was apparently going to be gone for the night, something he was more then used to. He loved her to death and Noah would be the last person to criticise anyone for their behaviour, hardly an angel himself and he was the first to admit that. It probably explained largely why he had woken up folded up inside of a closet, his phone having died of it battery long ago. Admittedly, Noah had woken up in stranger places after a heavy night with his drugs but luckily he could remember some of the reason it had happened. Kenzie. The bands manager had turned up whilst he was watching the last scene of the jungle book with a pole and had apparently left him in here overnight. With one push of the door, Noah realised that she hadn't actually locked it like he had expected. With a pout, he'd successfully collapsed into his own bed, also remembering that Kenzie had flushed his stash. Not for the first time either. It had been quite early in the morning so he could at least grab a few more hours of his precious sleep before he needed to be up and about.
Noah moaned a little into his mattress when Winter banged on his bedroom door, his head having been pushed under his pillow during his nap.“bdjfadjkad...” His words were intelligible so he simply stayed where he was for a few minutes longer, snoozing in his way too comfortable and warm bed. ‘Sound check?’ Suddenly Noah burst into action, standing rather unsteadily on his bed. One glance at the clock made him realise he was going to be late. Again. Jumping off of his bed, Noah threw open his door and pulled off his boxers before he climbed into the shower, rubbing his face in the water in an effort to wake himself up properly. Winter Pursuit had a show later that night he could remember now and they needed to do the most monotonous thing possible, sound check. Climbing out, Noah slowed himself down and wrapping a towel round his waist, blow dried his hair before straightening it to within an inch of its life and spiking it into the crazy mess that he was normally seen with. Heading into his room, Noah pulled on a pair a black skinny jeans and a plain white v-neck without too much thought before grabbing his keys and heading out. Noah was supposed to be there right now but even though he was only heading out of his door now didn't really concern him. He took note of how Winter's car had already gone.
Licking his lips, Noah arrived at the Hollywood bowl and jogged into the venue, giving a healthy smile to anyone that passed him who would never have any idea of the kind of night he had had. Coming up the stage, Noah stopped to be handed his first guitar that needed to be tuned so everyone in the venue would be able to hear. Grinning as he threw his guitar strap over his shoulder, Noah looked and saw the rest of the band on stage where the equipment was already set up. Giving his best friends and band mates a wide cheeky grin, Noah took his place in the middle of the stage and let his eyes wander over the size of the venue. The size of the place still got to him, especially as last time he'd been told, most of the tickets had been sold for the show. Smiling slightly to himself as he looked down at his guitar, Noah did a few testing strums. Sound check was necessary, but sometimes you could make it fun. There was no regulations on what you had to play so sometimes he would sing anything, from the pearl harbour soundtrack to a bit of Jay Z rap. If anything it gave the tech's that were sorting out their instruments a bit of a laugh. Leaning forward a little, Noah pushed his lips against the mic and stuck out his ass way more then he should. He knew Winter was directly behind him and holding onto the mic stand with one hand, peeked over his shoulder and bit his lip for a second before bursting out into laughter as he couldn't hold a straight face. “I tried. I tried.” His voice echoed around them from the speakers so the band could hear him. Shaking his head, Noah grinned and faced forward again. He'd been told the other day that there were two girls who had won a competition to watch their sound check before free standing tickets to the gig later that night.
As everything about Noah, from his confidence to his ridiculous obnoxious behaviour, screamed that he was a front man for a rock band, he would never shy away from an audience... even if it was just for two people. “I expect to hear you two helping me with this one.” He gave them a cheeky smile again before starting the beginning riff for 'Finders Keepers'. It was one of the better known songs and even though it was by far not his favourite, Noah would have to make the sound check semi-worth it for the two girls. He kept his eyes on them as he sung into the microphone. There would be no need to get through the whole song as that would be pointless, considering it would only take about two verses before the tech's had sorted their instruments. Noah excelled in performing above anything else, it was just what he loved doing. Although the band wasn't famous particularly for their live shows more then the various characters in the band the press liked to pick on, the fans that came to the show were never left disappointed. Despite all of their nonsense off stage, the band consistently took their music seriously. Even two fans were important because, with the use of the internet these days, they could easily tell 100 people within one hour. Noah was completely aware of that and wouldn't risk what they had, no matter how much Kenzie would disagree with that.

Sleep didn't seem like much of an option simply because she was restless. She hadn't slept all night either and she was hoping she would get an hour or two in for the day. Winter could run off no sleep easily but she would rather not. They did have a show tonight. She groaned as sleep refused to take over her. She rolled out of bed with a stretch and headed for the bathroom. She took a long cold shower, wanting to wake herself up. It definitely did the trick. She hated cold showers and she was freezing in it, but she knew if she took a hot shower, she might fall asleep in it. She did that once actually..but there had been other things in her system. She had only woken up because apparently she had been in there for a while and Noah started banging on the door to see if she was okay. She had laughed for a good ten minutes once she realized what happened and told Noah who laughed along with her.
She got out of the shower and found Noah's stash in her things. Win simply shrugged before returning it to one of his drawers and went to her room to get ready. She dried her hair and got dressed, changing multiple times before accepting what she was wearing. She found her charm bracelet and slipped it on. If anyone knew her well enough or paid enough attention, they would know she never did anything important without it. She wore it to ever practice, every sound check, every show. If she didn't have it on, she refused to perform. She had actually got into a big fight with Kenzie one night ten minutes before a show. Winter didn't have her bracelet on and she told their manager that if she couldn't go back to her apartment and get it, she wasn't going on. She told her it was better her be a little late then not on at all. Kenzie told her there was no way she was letting her go and make the rest of the band late. They were standing there screaming at each other when one of her other band members handed Winter her bracelet. Apparently it had slipped off her wrist when she had taken her jacket off.
Winter had performed amazingly that night and she told Kenzie that if she didn't have her bracelet on, it wouldn't have happened. Some people didn't get how she could drum with the charm bracelet on, but honestly, she didn't even notice it. It never bothered her and thankfully it never broke. That was why she considered it lucky. She had it ever since she started drumming altogether so she considered it very tied in with her talent and everything. She looked herself over in the mirror once more after applying her make up. She left her room and knocked on Noah's door a few times. Hearing nothing she shrugged and got into her car. She was late already and if Noah wasn't answering she figured he was already there.
Finding herself at the ampitheater, she went inside and headed straight for the stage. Wow. She was the first on here. That was a first. Normally Leena beat her by a mile. She picked up her drumsticks and twirled them around a few times as she went around her drum set once. She always liked to make sure it was set up correctly. She trusted the crew, but she just liked to be sure that it was right. She didn't want to have any issues during sound check or the show. She turned around and looked up as she heard a voice. "Hey girlfriend! Have you been here or did I actually get here first for once?!" She smiled over at her best friend Leena. Her and Noah were close, but she was pretty sure her and Leena were closer. After all, they were both girls and it was much easier to talk to her about certain things.
Winter nodded at Leena's comment about the boys being late. Very rarely did she arrive after one of them. She just wasn't sure where Noah was. She thought he had already left but he must have been sleeping. She was ready to call him to see if he was awake, but he came walking up onto the stage with a large grin. Win laughed and shook her head as she walked behind her drum set and sat down at it. She watched him take his place on the center of the stage in front of her. She couldn't help but laugh as he stuck his ass out and leaned into the mic. She shook her head at him. That was Noah for you. He was her best friend and she was used to his antics. She had to be. She did live with him after all and she had to know what to expect. She twirled her drum sticks around some more as Noah spoke to the girls who had won the contest.
Noah started off the sound check, playing the familiar riff to 'Finders Keepers'. She smiled as she brought her drums in, feeling right at home. She loved being a drummer and she let herself brag when she said she was one of the best. She had been at it for eleven years now and she gave it her all. She still went to lessons occasionally. She liked to be on top of her game. During shows she really got into it just as the rest of the band did. She had to keep extra sticks near her on stage at all times because she broke hers on more than one occasion. With the sound check, she grew more excited for the show. She couldn't wait for the seats to be filled and fans to be screaming. Maybe Winnie would even find a hot guy to take home afterward. TAG ?!
