--- i'll be there when you close your eyes ,. ( HOLD YOU TIGHT, SAY GOODNIGHT )
“all right, charlotte, we’ll go sometime. We’re stopping soon anyways in albequerque for a few days, so. …. Yeah, we’ll definitely stop there. Oh before I forget, can you watch Dayna tonight? Kelley asked me to but he kind of forgot I had to be at their show tonight to take some pictures… oh, thank you darling! All right, I’ll see you after the show tonight. Bye.” hanging up her cell phone, grace sighed as she messed around on her laptop as she waited for her latest batch of pictures to upload onto her laptop. Sometimes being back in LA at fairday would have been a lot easier, and faster. But hey, she honestly wasn’t regretting someone on tour anymore. At first she had been, she had to admit. Course, when her and her best friend had to share a tour bus, and they were not talking to one another, course she would regret it. but she was finally glad that her and garret had managed to work something out before they had left. Kelley had been his thick headed self and locked them both in his room, thus resulting in them eventually talking. And though she was glad that they were getting along again, they had their fair share of up and downs, especially recently with his assumption that she was dating the manager for a false start. Really, she couldn’t understand what went through that boy’s head at times.
Such as his ideas that she would actually agree to go to the bar with him. though she was sure she surprised him, and herself, with that by agreeing. She’d spent two days a few weeks ago going out to the bar with him, and course, against her own better judgment, given drinking a try. No matter how much she drank she could not see the fun of it, she had been pleased to say. But that was besides the point. The point was, they were getting back on track, and that made her happy. She wasn’t sure how it had really happened, but it did. And she was just thankful for that. She loved having hi back in her life, even if it wasn’t the same as it was four or five months ago when they had started dating again. She cringed slightly as she though to back to that; she still had the promise ring he’d given her in her bag, buried underneath her clothes and everything. She really didn’t know why she didn’t give it back, or get rid of it like she wanted. But she was pretty sure that she wouldn’t be able to give it up. She was still pathetic, yes.
Hearing a click, she glanced at her computer and saw that her photos were done uploading, finally. She clicked on the folder to check them out, and as she scanned through them, she couldn’t help but smile as some of the ones that featured garret in them. He was photogenic, she had to give him that. Sighing, she kept flicking through, her heart doing a bit of a summersault every time she passed a picture of him. so she admitted it; she probably still liked him. that wouldn’t go away easily, she knew it that much. But she was pretty sure that it would pass on its own. After two failed relationships and their countless arguments, she was sure that maybe there were not meant to be together. But if they hadn’t been meant to be together, then why had he broken up with jayden… she remembered his reason for doing it too. “because she’s not you.” That had honestly got her crying. After that day in kelley’s apartment, after she’d begged Kelley to let her out, she had gone straight to her car and just sat there and cried for fifteen minutes straight, even after garret had left. She didn’t know if he had even seen her or not, but it really did not matter anymore, did it? they were done, that’s what she told herself. And she was going to just keep believing that.
She snapped her head out of her thoughts as her phone went off. Glancing down at it, she saw that it was a text from Seth, telling her that All For Dayna was going to be on about an hour… an hour?! She glanced at the time on her phone. Oh shoot it was nearing six. How the heck had time passed by so quickly? Sighing, she closed her laptop and put it in her bunk before she went to the back of the bus towards the wardrobe closet. Sure, it was the tiniest thing ever but it worked? Opening up the one for garret ( as she was sharing it with him because she didn’t want to have to take a whole one for the low amount of clothing she packed for the trip ), she pulled out a pair of jeans and a Glamour Kills t-shirt from the closet. She stared at the shirt for a second, as she could not figure out whose it was…. Shrugging it off, she pulled off her other shirt and jeans and changed into the ones she picked out. Huh.. the shirt was big on her. maybe it wasn’t hers…. She contemplated changing it, but she figured she won’t have much time, so she just grabbed a hair tie from around her wrist and tied up some of the shirt to the side so that it didn’t hang that low. Grabbing her beanie off the top shelf, she placed it carefully on her head before she grabbed her camera bag from it’s safe place in the corner. Thankfully, the boys knew better than to touch her camera. She didn’t take to that lightly.
Grabbing her sweatshirt off the couch, she quickly got her shoes on before checking her phone. Yes, charlotte was here! Oh thank goodness, she wouldn’t have been able to leave if she wasn’t here. Pulling the bus door open, she gave her friend a quick one armed hug before telling her she would be back in about two or three hours, depending on how the show went. Waving a hand, she started fast walking towards the arena, digging her hand into her sweatshirt to make sure her pass was still there. Even if she had been there earlier yesterday to get a feel for the arena and for the boys’ sound check, they had warned her that she wouldn’t be allowed back in without a pass. As she showed her pass to the guy who was standing there guarding the door, she glanced at her watch; the boys would have probably started by now. She hopped up the few stairs, thanking Ronnie, the big guy that was guarding the door, before walking through. Turning on her camera, she started taking the long route behind the stage to get to the other side and get down low enough to be able to start taking shots. She often stood by where the security guards stood to make sure no girls did massive stage dives onto the stage. Sure, it was a dangerous spot to be in, but it resulted in amazing shots for the boys myspace and purevolume pages. Oh well if she got smacked in the head or crushed by something.
The boys were already playing; she could hear kelley’s talking to the audience as riley played some sort of intricate drum beat. Gosh, everything was so much louder from the back. Taking the last few steps down, she managed to get rid behind one of the big security guards, who noticed her right away, but as she held up her pass, just turned his back to her. smiling slightly, she turned back to the face the guys. Sure, at times, she missed behind back in los angeles, but seeing sights like this really made her wonder why she would consider going back. Holding up her camera, she aimed it first for Seth, taking in a good shot before waving her fingers at him lightly as he glanced her way. She glanced up at Garret for a second, and she couldn’t help but smile as she caught his eye, and she caught a grin on his face. More than likely from noticing the shirt. Raising her camera, she caught a picture of him really quick, that goofy grin on his face. This for sure wasn’t for their myspace or their purevolume.

Grace had been on this boys mind a lot lately. A whole lot more than he was willing to admit to anyone, even himself. She had made it very clear to Garret several months ago that he had no right to think about her at all anymore, and honestly, he agreed with her. He had truly fucked things up. He remembered standing at her door with flowers in his hand, trying to explain to her why he did what he did, and how much he loved her, and all that shit. Course, all he got was her taking the flowers [which by the way were her absolute favorite. He always got those for her], saying she was sorry and she couldn’t do it, and then the door in his face. He knew he deserved it, after all, what kind of person just backs up and moves out of the country without so much as a good bye to their girl friend? Only assholes, that’s who. Garret sighed as he thought about this. Four months…. It had been four months since he had last gotten to call Grace his own. Four months since he had truly been happy. He wasn’t afraid to admit that out loud anymore. He wasn’t happy. Not at all. He hadn’t been since before he left for Ireland. Sure, he pretended to be happy. He was the closest to being happy when he was with Jayden. Truly, he hadn’t meant to hurt her. For some bizarre and unknown reason, he was convinced that if he told everyone he was happy, and he was with a person he used to be happy, that he could make himself happy. It hadn’t worked though, and had only resulted in him being hurt, and him hurting Jayden. Things were still a little awkward between the two, and he absolutely hated that, but really, what could the boy do?
He ran a hand through his hair as he laid on his bunk. Fuck. He was a mess. He couldn’t believe that four months ago he had started payments on and engagement ring. A ring that he wasn’t sure he was ever going to use. He knew that he would never place that ring on a finger that didn’t belong to Ace. After all, he had spotted it when he bought her promise ring, and he knew that that ring was meant for Grace, and at the time, he took it as a sign that he would one day be placing it on her finger. He gave a quick laugh, oh the irony. He was thrilled to just be talking to her again, and he knew that was all he could really hope to ask for. Hoping for anything else would be asking for too much, and Garret didn’t want to ruin what he had with Grace now. Still…he still found himself wondering how things would be between them had he not fucked things up. Sighing again, he rolled over and pushed himself off of his bunk. He needed a walk…air…he needed something. He needed to escape from his own thoughts, to focus on the upcoming show tonight. He stretched for a moment, and looked around. Well fuck, everyone else was still asleep? What time was it? Glancing at the time on the microwave, he saw it was only six o clock in the morning. Well fuck, why the hell was he awake? Opening the closet he shared with Grace, he pulled out the clothes he planned on wearing tonight before going into the small bathroom. Seriously, the shower in this fucking thing was microscopic. You had room to stand, that was about it. Turning the water on, he jumped in, quickly shampooing his hair and washing his body with the Axe shower gel. Rinsing off, He stepped a step over, putting him out of the shower, and tried his best to dry off and change. Really, could they have not gotten a bus with a bigger bathroom? This was just a tad bit ridiculous. He ran his fingers through his wet hair as he blow dried it, and then quickly ran a straightener through it before topping it off with a beanie. There. He was good to go now.
Going back to the closet, he moved all of his jeans over to the side of the closet and dug through a bag that he kept in the corner of the small closest. It held the most random items that the boy owned. It had his first pair of converse in there, a copy of their first ever demo, random pictures of him, grace, Kelley and Dayna from back when the days had been good ones. He smiled as he saw the very first thing that Grace had ever given him. It was an ACDC cd and a matching t-shirt. He could remember the day she gave it to him. He had thought that it was the single most amazing present he had ever received, and it was all because his Grace Jones had given it to him. He pushed past the shirt and found the little black box he was looking for. He twirled it in his fingers, before placing it in the front pocket of his shirt. As Quietly as he could he crept past the bunks and out the door. Where he was going was still unknown to him. Maybe he would just walk around the city until sound check. All he knew was that he didn’t need to talk to anyone else just yet, despite the fact that he really wanted to talk to Kelley or Noah or Charlie or Mason to ask their opinion. After all, second opinions were always good right? Wait. What did he want a second opinion on? God, the boy was so scatter brained he didn’t even know what he was thinking about. If things continued this way, he would play like rubbish tonight at the performance. He took off his beanie and ran his hands through his hair again, shaking it out slightly before placing the hat back on his head. He needed to figure out what his heart was telling him before the performance. He knew that for a fact.
The rest of the day flew past really fast for Dublin. Before he knew it, he was standing in the wings with is guitar across his shoulder. Finders Keepers was finishing up their final number, and Garret was already getting nervous. Not about the performance, Garret rarely got nervous before a performance anymore. Rather, he knew after this particular performance, everything was going to change in his life. He just wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to change, and that is what scared him to death. If things didn’t go as planned….well….he wasn’t sure what he would do. Die of embarrassment probably, plus, he knew the media and the guys would never let him live it down. Hearing Corbin bid the crowd goodbye, Garret took a deep breath. He smiled at the guys coming over the stage, and he gave Charlie a slight shove as he walked past him before grinning. He walked out on the dark stage, shaking his nerves out before the lights hit them and they started playing. As they played through their first song, Garret scanned the area where Grace usually stood, and found himself frowning as he saw that she wasn’t there. Well, that would certainly put a damper on his plans. Finally, he saw her familiar face and body standing there by one of the body guards. He couldn’t help but smile as he saw that she was wearing on of his shirts. Of course Garret instantly thought of the last time he had seen the girl in one of his shirts. It had been the night he had given her the promise ring. It seemed like everything had gone wrong that night. He caught the kitchen on fire, set his sprinklers off, and then the blew the fuse box and his electricity went out. He figured that the night had gone to hell, but it was quite the opposite. He had ended up in bed with Grace, and woke up to her in one of his t-shirts, honestly, a sight he would love to wake up to every morning. If things went well, that might just be in his future.
As the song ended, Kelley took the microphone and started doing introductions. Not quite sure what exactly came over him, Garret leaned into his microphone, “Hey Killer, shut the fuck up for a second, okay. HEY. GRACE JONES, GET YOUR BUTT UP HERE.”
He said, taking the guitar off from around his shoulders and sitting it down on the amp. He walked over to the edge of the stage and looked at the guards. “Well, aren’t you douche bags going to help her up here?” he asked over the sound of the fans screaming because he was just feet away from them. He gave Grace a smile, and grabbed her waist as the guards lifted her up. Making sure that she was on the stage fully, he grabbed her hand and drug her over to Kelley’s microphone before dropping her hand and taking the microphone off the stand. He gave Grace a smile before looking out to the crowd. “Everyone say hello to All For Dayna’s photographer, Grace Jones” He could help but laugh as he heard the crowd say hello to her. Turning around to face her, he moved his microphone over to his left hand and grab her left hand in his right. “Grace. Ace. I know that…..well, we both know we’ve had problems in the past. It seems like no matter how much we love each other, we can never make things work. I also know that its been my fault every time. But I know how much I love you and…I think that we can make this work if we both try. I am willing to try. I know you once said that we would both have to try to make this work, and, well I guess I never was willing to give up what I had to give up so I could put everything I had in this relationship. But fuck that. I am ready now. Grace…I love you.”. He dropped the microphone to the ground and reached into his shirt pocket, keeping her hand in his the entire time. Pulling out the little black box, he went down on one knee, and flipped the box open with his thumb. “Grace Elizabeth Marie Jones. I love you. In front of all of my fans and my closest friends, I promise you that I am done with the bullshit. I’m done. No more smoking, no more getting wasted every night. You are all that I want, and all that I need. Will you marry me?” [/blockquote]

--- i'll be there when you close your eyes ,. ( HOLD YOU TIGHT, SAY GOODNIGHT ) Honestly, as she just stood there snapping pictures, she wondered how she could have considered not coming on tour. Sure, the first week or two had been awkward, but once she and garret had made up, everything had seemed to work out. Sure, there were still those times where things were awkward, but at the end of the day, they were talking and laughing and getting along again like they had before all the drama had gotten between them. Standing there, hearing the fans cheering, seeing the band playing, seeing garret smiling, it made her wonder why she would have, how she ever could have, considered not coming with them. She must have been crazy to consider missing out on this amazing chance. As the band’s song started coming to a close, she snapped a few more shots of riley and parker before she heard Kelley start doing the typical introduction of the band. She focused her camera, trying to get a clear shot, but she dropped her arms as she heard Garret telling Kelley to shut up for a second. Raising an eyebrow, she turned her head to him, but as he mentioned her name, telling her to get up there, she laughed slightly, already feeling slightly embarrassed about it. “How am I—” but she stopped, instead letting out a gasp as she felt one of the body guards that guarded the stage lifting her up onto the stage. She looked up at Garret as she felt his hand around her wrist. “What are you doing?” She whispered to him, or however loudly she said that so that only he could hear it as he dragged her over towards the main mic, Kelley’s mic.
As he took her free hand, she gripped her camera tighter in her older hand, praying to god that she didn’t drop her camera. She had been about to when she got caught off guard with the security guards lifting her up. She stared at him, trying to figure out what the hell he was doing. As he turned to the audience and told them to say hello, she felt her cheeks turning red quickly as she waved quickly, turning her head down to look at her shoes. What was this boy doing… as he addressed her, she glanced up at him, watching his face, trying to figure out where he was going. But she really couldn’t; all she could really do was focus on what he was saying. Honestly, she hadn’t ever heard any more words from that boy that could have made her feel so good as those did. He was willing to try…. She bit her lip as she smiled, staring up at him. she wanted to open her mouth, to tell him those three words back at him, because, there really was nothing else she could do. But before she could form words in her head to not sound like a complete idiot, she heard the microphone drop to the ground, and garret followed suit, landing on one knee.
He couldn’t be…. She took a deep breath as he opened the box, and inside, was the most gorgeous ring she had ever seen. Staring at the design of the flower on the ring, she felt her lips turning up into an incredulous smile. She was pretty sure her eyes were bugging out right then and there too. He was serious…. He was dead serious. She could tell by the tone of his voice, the look in his eye that this was no joke at all. He was done. He was honestly and sincere about every single word he had uttered in front of the fans, in front of the band, in front of their friends. She didn’t care that she had lost grip of her camera and it had made contact with the floor, nor did she care to make sure it was okay. All she cared right now was that she was standing there like an idiot with teary eyes, staring down at a boy who was asking her to marry him. raising her free hand to her hair, she brushed some of it back as she knelt down slowly, her eyes traveling from the ring in his one hand to his face.
“Garret…. This…. Oh my gosh… ” She couldn’t cry, not now. Taking a deep breath, she shook her head, looking down for a second before she glanced up, nodding her head slowly. “How could i… how could I say to this..?” taking a deep breath, she looked at him, the smile on her face growing. “Of course, of course, of course. I… I’ll marry you, of course.” Letting out a relieved breath, she leaned forward swiftly, pressing her lips against his for a few seconds before pulling back, staring at him. “I have never heard you say any words…that…. That mean more to me than they do. Just the fact that… that you’re going to try to… oh my gosh, Garret, you have no idea how much I love you.” Hearing her voice crack as she tried to talk, she shook her head, finally shutting up. There really wasn’t much that she could say, was there? Honestly, if they hadn’t been on stage right then and there, she was sure she would have hugged the boy with whatever force she could muster.

In his entire twenty years of existence, Garret Lee Dublin had never said words that he meant more than the ones he had just said to Grace Jones. He meant it. He was done. He had no desire to smoke another joint for the rest of his life, and in fact, it had been two weeks since he had last touched a joint. That was a decently long time for the boy, even if it didn’t seem like a long time. Honestly, the boy had been tempted several times. Thackery and Noah certainly didn’t make things easy on the boy either. Not that Noah intentionally tempted him, but he did make Garret think about the good times he had had with Noah getting high and reeking havoc on unsuspecting people. Thackery though, he basically told Garret that he was fucking stupid for giving up his weed for some girl. He had tried to talk him out of his decision, but Garret just wouldn’t hear of it. He had to admit that it was hard, it was really hard. There had been so many times he had wanted to call Noah and ask him for a joint, but then he would remember Grace’s face that day he came back from Ireland, and he would realize that none of it was worth having to see her hurt like that again. Nothing was ever worth seeing the hurt and disappointment in her eyes. Not only had he broken his promise to her that he would give up the drugs, he ran from her when he didn’t follow through. He vowed once again to himself at that very moment that he would not, under any circumstances let her hurt like that again.
As he saw the tears in her eyes, he wasn’t exactly sure what to think. Was that a good thing? He certainly hoped so, because if she turned him down in front of all of these people, well, he didn’t even want to know what would happen. He knew it would be fucking humiliating though. As he hit one knee, he watched her reaction, hoping to find comfort in it. As soon as he saw her look at the ring, and saw the smile on her face, he knew that it was all over. She was forever going to be his, and he wasn’t going to fuck it up this time. Things were actually going his way for once. He smiled really big when she knelled down slowly, and he could feel his heart pounding in his chest every time he caught her eye. At this moment right now, he honestly could not see how he could possibly ever thing there would be someone else. No one else could possibly make this kid feel so many emotions at one time. He was disgusted with himself for sleeping around like he did. He knew where his heart had been since he was thirteen years old, where it had been through every other relationship the boy had, right there in Grace’s hand. Often Kelley would call him whipped and Garret would deny it, but right now, he would stand up in front of all of these people and admit he was whipped.
Hearing her talk, he gave her the best goofy smile that he could. “I’m really hoping that you cant say no honestly, Ace.”
he teased. Hearing her say of course, he really thought that his heart might just pop out of his chest. Before he could really do anything she had already leaned forwards and pressed her lips towards his quickly. He gave her the biggest smile the thought that he could ever managed to put on his face. This was for real! This was really happening! He took the ring out of the box and slid it on her hand, smiling as the fans all awed. Once the ring was finally in place on her finger, he brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it softly. “I have never said words that I have meant more Grace. I love you more than anyone could ever love someone.” he said as he stood up and grabbed onto her hands to help her up. He didn’t even know what to do! He was so full of excitement, so happy, so….there weren’t even words to describe what this boy was feeling right now. He couldn’t help but laugh right now. Grabbing Grace, he place hand on the small of her back before dipping her and giving her a real kiss. There was just so much emotion he had, and he tried to put every single thing he was feeling into that kiss. Right now, it was as if no one else was there with them. He couldn’t hear the fans who were awing and clapping, he couldn’t hear the person who yelled ‘Get some!’ from some point on the stage or in the wings. It was as if it were just him and Grace, standing there alone on an empty stage. As he pulled back, he gave her a devilish smile. “God…I just love you so much” he said, quickly kissing her lips once more. He looked down on the floor and grabbed the microphone and her camera. Taking the camera, he pointed it at Grace before snapping a picture. Even though he was positive that this entire thing would be on the internet before he even got back to the bus tonight, he always wanted this particular picture with him. He would have to make sure that she got it developed as soon as possible. Finally, the roar of the crowd caught the boys attention and reminded him that he was actually at a performance, huh. Bringing the microphone up to his face, he said “Oh hey. When did you all get here?” which of course sent the crowd into a fit of laughter, which made him smirk. “So yea…IM GETTING MARRIED” He all but yelled triumphantly, which made the crowd go wild. Often the band had argued which performances where the best, and he now knew that hands down, he would always argue that this one trumped all others. Walking over to where Kelley was standing, he patted his should as he handed him the microphone. ‘Its all yours buddy.” He almost laughing at the ‘What the hell was that?’ look that Kelley was giving him. He ran past Seth, who was just completely dead panned. He was sure he would catch major shit for this later, but right now, he really couldn’t care less, because Grace was his, and there was nothing that Seth could really do about it. Running over to Riley, he banged on the drums with his hand before screaming “FUCK RILEY! I AM GETTING MARRIED” to Riley who had a big grin plastered on his face as well. He ran over to the other side of the stage where a slightly confused but also smiling Parker stood. Garret messed up his hair before saying “I’m getting married bitch!” He wasn’t even sure what to do right now. His mind was racing, he had all of this sudden energy and he wasn’t sure what to do. Sure, they should probably get back to playing their set, but how do you do that when you just found out that the love of your life, the girl of your dreams, the only one for you has just agreed to marry you and spend the rest of her life with you? Running back over to the girl, he placed his hands on either side of her face and planted his lips on hers once more. [/blockquote] Grace<33//1284//outfitfools// Eh, short but I still rather like it?

“If I said no… I would be absolutely out of my mind, Dublin.” She said softly, her eyes on the ring as she said it. God, who could say no to this? Only someone who was totally insane, that was for sure. As she pulled back from the boy, she couldn’t help but let her smile grow two fold as she saw the smile on his face. Honestly, she hadn’t seen any smile that big on Garret’s face in so long. It made her really realize how much she missed him, how much she missed being able to call him hers. But God, right then and there she could not compare her feelings to how she had felt when they were teenagers and had dated then. She couldn’t compare this to how she felt when she had gotten him back mere months ago, when they had spent the night together after that disastrous date. Nothing compared to what she was feeling right now. Though it really had just happened in front of her eyes, her mind couldn’t seem to form the words. she was… she was getting… she was getting married. “Oh my gosh…. We’re getting married..” she said in a soft, awe-struck voice as she watched him slip the ring onto her finger. It was really on her finger… she stared at it, her eyes following as Garret lifted her hand up and kissed it softly. Could she really be blamed if her eyes were watering up? Honestly, she would have been surprised if she didn’t want to really cry. They’d been through so much drama, so much crap, that this was such a relief. She didn’t think she could handle anything else happening to them, happening in between them. She was sure if that happened, she would just ultimately give up on love.
He knew just what to say…. Biting her lip, she let an almost relieved laugh leave her lips before thinking of something to say. But, in all honesty, her mind wouldn’t work right. She couldn’t string together any words to say. Instead, she just kept her mouth shut as she felt him take her hands and help her up. She could tell by his face he was just as happy, just as excited as she was. Hearing him laugh, she couldn’t help but let out an actual laugh instead of a laugh of relief. It was almost as though this wasn’t happening. As she stared at him, she wanted to say something, anything. But in all honesty, she was sure that saying something couldn’t really express half of what she was feeling right then and there. But thankfully, she really didn’t have to say anything. As she felt his hand on her back, she glanced up at him before feeling herself falling back, his lips pressed against hers. Was it that bad she laughed the tiniest bit as she kissed him back? Hopefully not, because it was not funny whatsoever. It was the sweetest, the cutest, the… just amazing, that was all she could think. She took his face in between her hands as she kissed him back, dimly aware of the audience watching, awing, taking videos, whatever they were doing. For once, it didn’t matter. It really didn’t matter that they were on stage, in front of hundreds of thousands of fans right now watching them.
Taking a huge breath as they pulled apart, she couldn’t help but smile as she heard him repeat those words he’d said so many times before. But this time she knew it was different; they had impact, they had meaning. They meant more to her than whatever else was said that night. Pressing her lips against his once more against his, she pulled back, her face inches from you. “You… you are the luckiest guy in the world, Garret. I love you too.” she said softly as he looked down and bent over to pick up the microphone. Watching him also take her camera in his hand, she couldn’t help but get a huge smile on her face as he snapped a picture of her. tucking some of her hair out of her face as the crowd continued cheering, she glanced out at them and waved her hand slightly just as Garret addressed them. Laughing slightly, she turned back to him just as she heard him say he was getting married. The words sent her stomach into a little fit of jitters; this was seriously happening. She turned her head slightly to look at the guys as garret went back to give the microphone back to Kelley, and she caught sight of Seth. Oh, she wouldn’t hear the end of this one, she was absolutely certain. But at that moment she was pretty sure that she didn’t care. She was just too excited about everything to let what her brother thought get in the way. She was getting married… she was getting married to Garret Lee Dublin. The thought still sounded so far off in her head, but she knew that it was true. It would just take a while to get used to.
Bringing her hands up to her face, she rubbed underneath her eyes. She was sure that by now her make up had run, even if it was just slightly. Her eyes were wetter than she had thought they were; as she pulled her hands back, she caught sight of the black residue of her eyeliner and mascara on her fingers. She glanced up just in time to hear Garret shouting that he was getting married, and she couldn’t help but laugh, even at Parker’s comment with something along the line of condoms and another Garret. Rolling her eyes, she reached over towards Parker, who was thankfully near enough to punch in the arm without really moving much at all. Grabbing her camera that was still on the floor, she quickly hit a few buttons until she got to her most recently taken pictures. Seeing the one that garret snapped of her, she couldn’t help but laugh at how awful she looked right there. But it really didn’t matter; her eyes were shining, not just from crying but from excitement. It was worth the picture, she figured. She glanced up again as she felt his hands on her face, and her stomach decided to do a few back flips in her stomach as he kissed her one more time. Reaching her free hand up to his neck, she pulled him closer, deepening the kiss for just a second before pulling back, resting her forehead against his, or as well as she could, anyways. She wasn’t tall enough to read his forehead. “we’re getting married, garret… ” she was sure she couldn’t ever say those words enough.
