Winter rolled over in her bed and opened her eyes. It was still dark. Why was it still dark? Her eyes moved slowly to her window to see if her blinds were closed. Nope. They were open. Not only were they open but the sky was still basically pitch black. Her confused orbs found the clock. 4:30 AM. What?! She had only gone to sleep two hours ago. Why the hell was she awake right now? Then her stomach turned. Shit. She thought and then she heard Bamf whine as he struggled to jump on the bed. Yepp. She hurridly threw her covers off of her body and as silently as she could made her way to the bathroom. She breathed a sigh of relief when she noticed Noah was not still awake. She knew he liked to stay up late but she didn't want him noticing this new trend of her running to the bathroom early morning to puke her guts out. Bamf padded after her and she made sure he was in the bathroom before she closed the door so he wouldn't be whining at it. That would wake Noah up for sure. The small dog curled himself up against her leg as she kneeled in front of the toilet and for the seventh or eighth day in a row threw up.
She groaned as she wiped her mouth off with the back of her hand. She reached up and flushed the toilet before leaning against the closest wall. Her shaking hands moved to pet Bamf as he curled up on her lap. The little rottweiler puppy had been attached to her the past couple of weeks. Sure the pup liked Noah and Win often found the two curled up on the couch, but Bamf hadn't left her side for much longer than other to eat lately. She pet him with a small smile on her face as he whined again. She leaned her head against the wall and sighed as she looked at the time. 5 AM. she was so tired but her will to move back to her bed was non existant. Not to mention she felt her stomach turn again and she decided on sitting on the bathroom floor for just a little longer. She didn't want to be running back and forth from her bedroom to the bathroom. It wasn't like it was far, but she could only stay quiet for so long and she did not want Noah up and worrying about her. He was stressed to. She didn't want to add onto it. She felt her eyes drift close and she decided on giving it ten minutes and then she would move back to her room.
A distant sound caused her eyes to flutter open. Her head was resting on her arm which was resting on the toilet seat. The sound that woke her was Bamf barking and growling, to his best ability as he was still a pup, at Noah who stood in the doorway of the bathroom. She squinted as she looked up at him. It was definitely daylight now. She sat up and ran a hand through her sweat matted hair. Her hand then stayed on her forehead as a pounding headache was more then present. She looked up at her best friend who raised an eyebrow at her, "Rough night, Win?" A smirk was present on Noah's face but Winter ignored his comment. She probably did look hung over though. After all, she was curled up around the toilet. She looked down to the dog who would not let Noah any closer to her. She frowned, "Bamf shut up!" She said and the dog stopped barking but would not look away from Noah. Winter ignored it for now. "What time is it?" She asked and Noah told her noon. She groaned slightly as she pushed herself up off the bathroom floor, picking up Bamf and holding him in her arms. "What's wrong with you puppydog? It's just Noahkins. Give him a kiss!" She said as she took a step toward her best friend and held the puppy up to Noah but Bamf only growled his little growl. Winter pulled him back into her with a confused look and shrugged slightly. "Maybe he's on his period. I'm going to take a nap."
Winter left the bathroom, Bamf in her hands and went back to her own room. She closed her door and crawled back into her comfortable bed. She breathed a sigh of relief as she sunk into it and fell asleep almost instantly. However, it didn't feel like long before she was awake again. She looked at the clock near her bed. 2:00. Well, at least she got a couple hours of comfortable sleep. Then she felt it again. Her stomach was turning. She quickly got out of bed and opened her bedroom door and peaked out. Noah and Garret sat on the sofa, watching who knew what on tv. She quickly, but causually in case they saw her, made her way to the bathroom again and closed the door behind her. This time Bamf wasn't in with her. Not making it to the toilet itself, she threw up in the sink this time. What the hell was wrong with her? Winter never got sick let alone threw up and she had been throwing up now for seven or eight days. This just didn't make sense. She rinsed out the sink and used a small dixie cup to rinse her mouth out. She then moved to her drawer and shuffled some things around to look for her tooth brush. Something caught her eye and she paused for a second. It was a home pregnancy test. It was no secret Winter had sex a lot, or she used to before her and Caleb got together anyway. So she kept them around just in case. She had freaked out once before and bought them and it was false. The one in her drawer had to be a left over from them.
Biting her lip a million thoughts came into her head. When was the last time she had her period? She couldn't remember. When was the last time she had sex? Her and Caleb had for the first time a few weeks back and she couldn't help but smile at the thought before swallowing hard and feeling herself pale. No.. She couldn't be.. could she? Well, there was only one way to find out. Following the instructions on the box, Winnie took the test and waited for what seemed like hours for the results to show up. Looking at it again, her jaw dropped as she matched the symbol to the one in the instructions. Positive. She stared at it and set it down on the sink, crossing her arms over her chest. No way. There was NO WAY. She moved to the door hearing Bamf whine and watched the small dog run from the bathroom door and run over to the boys, tugging on each of their pant legs and trying to get them to pay attention. Did the dog know something was up before she did? No. Because nothing was wrong. She looked back to the test sitting on the sink and bit her lip. She picked it up and stared at it again. She felt her heart sink into her stomach. She was pregnant. She held the test in her hand so it wouldn't be seen as she made her way to where the boys sat on the sofa. "Uh hey guys.." She swallowed hard and felt herself pale even more if it were even possible. "So uhm... I'm pretty sure I.. am well.." She felt her voice crack slightly as her her fingers ran over the test hidden in her hand. "I'm pregnant... She almost still didn't believe it herself. Maybe the test wasn't right.

- - - - - - - - - - Noah rolled his head on the pillow, his hair messing crazily as he looked at Liberty sleeping in the same bed next to him. She'd turned up in the evening and naturally they'd spent the time she was there in the bedroom. Things were more then that now though, Noah actually had feelings for Libby even if everyone else still had issues with her like before. He'd been terrified when he'd got the phone call telling him that Liberty had passed out at a photo shoot she was at. At the moment, his girlfriend, for that was what she was, had been at a rehab centre about her eating issues but Lib had managed to escape for a night so it was only fair that they spent it in bed, right? Smoothing her hair down, he matched her smile when her eyes flicked open to look into his green ones. A check of the time and Liberty had all but flown out of bed, muttering something about being late, Noah didn't know what for, before she'd left with a stolen kiss from the lead singer. It was almost midday so he figured it would probably best if he got up and actually faced the world. Pulling on a pair of clean checked green boxer briefs, Noah peeked outside of his room expecting to see an all knowing Winter waiting for him with some sneaky comment about Liberty darting off. Instead, he was met with an empty room and a muted television still playing on the channel he'd left it on last night before he'd been distracted by a certain pretty lady knocking on.
Rubbing his nose, Noah frowned and headed out. This was something new for Winter to actually sleep past him in the day so he figured he would check it out and look what was up. Noah didn't bother getting dressed past his boxers, Winter had seen him in far less and it wasn't totally out of the blue for him to walk around in just his underwear. Scratching his stomach, Noah blinked the sleep out of his eyes and knocked ever so lightly on Win's door but received no answer. Raising and eyebrow, Noah sniffed and opened it, frowning a little at the pushed back covers on the bed. Normally Winter let him know if she was disappearing out, particularly recently. Winter had made it clear knowledge that she was going to see Caleb every other minute a few days ago but it had stopped for a while which worried him a bit. It was pretty obvious that Win had very strong feelings for the guitarist and apparently the guy returned them too which was a very good thing since Noah wouldn't let someone hurt Winter and get away with it too easily. Frowning, Noah turned back around and headed to the bathroom. Perhaps she was in there.
Noticing the door was shut, Noah pressed his ear against the door but heard no noise in there, no shower, no nothing. Winter was normally singing or making some clattering sound with her hair stuff. Worry crept into his stomach and he opened the door slowly so that if she was on the toilet, she could tell him no, but again, no noise. Frowning, Noah spotted her on the floor next to the toilet and quickly jumped to a conclusion with a smirk. He ignored Bamf's barking and couldn't resist the comment of "Rough night, Win?" He went to step forward but their little puppy growled at him and he stepped back before answering her question on the time. Noah made a pouty face at Bamf when Winter lifted him up to give Noah a kiss. Dogs normally hated him but this one had taken a likening to the singer which was a relief and they often fell asleep together curled up on the couch. Noah frowned when Winter mentioned he was on his period. "We were supposed to be the two men of the house, Bamf." Noah crossed his arms on his chest and left so Winter could have a good nap. She looked like she needed it.
Diving over the couch, Noah lay down and picked up his phone when it beeped a little while later. Garret was coming over. Tch. Guess he'd have to get changed then. Switching to some lazy clothes, he grabbed a hoody to bring out since it was getting colder in L.A now. Welcoming his friend in with the usual greeting of "Hey douche!" Noah grinned and flicked his hair out of his eyes. Pushing a hand under his shirt, Noah scratched his stomach. "Imma make some nachos. You want some?" He asked Garret idly. He said 'make' lightly considering all it included was sticking a plate into the microwave which was pretty much all he was useful at doing food wise. The guy had somehow set a toaster on fire after all. "Winter's having a nap. She had a rough night." Pulling the plate out of the microwave, Noah shrugged and slumped back on the couch, putting it down on the coffee table in front with a pop of one of his fingers in his mouth to get the cheese off. Popping one of the nacho into his mouth whole like a real man, Noah waved his hand at his lips as it burned them and in explanation let out "Stoohot!" Nodding, Noah threw the remote control for the television at the guitarist and chewed absently on the big plate of nachos.
After a while, Noah popped in another nacho and stood up to lift up the cushion on the couch. He didn't even blink an eye at the packets of drugs inside. It was cheaper in bulk after all. There wasn't too much, but certainly enough to last him the rest of the month. He wasn't proud of it but it had become a necessity for Noah these days. Grabbing a packet of weed, Noah was certain that Garret would want a bit. "You aren't pansy clean now, are you?" Oh if he was, Noah would be too jealous. Licking his lips, Noah reached into the waste basket next to the couch and pulled out one of the religious leaflets that was in a pile of about fifty inside. His mother just wasn't getting the picture. Ripping it down the middle, it would make for the perfect rizzler and Noah beamed as she rolled up. "Thanks mom!"He said sarcastically and lit it as he sat back. He wouldn't be too high from the stuff, it would only make him relaxed. It probably explained why Noah was sitting through a documentary Garret had apparently put on about sea shells and their usefulness in the world. Feeling a tug on his jeans, Noah frowned and looked down and stumped out his joint on the tray in the table before reaching down and picking up the rottweiler. "So, you want me now, do you?" Noah guessed the mutt was hungry and for some reason Noah felt the need to hold Bamf in Garret's face with a laugh, especially as the dog was growling about something.
Putting Bamf down onto his own lap, the dog started chewing and pulling Noah's shirt out. "Don't be taking the shirt literally, Bamf." He said bemusedly, the shirt reading that only people of a certain height being allowed to fight him. Noah lifted the dog up again when the gnawing started to hurt although his shirt wasn't let go. "Fucking hell, Bamf." he frowned, but it disappeared when Winter suddenly appeared in front of them both, looking even paler then she had earlier. He kept quiet with a raised eyebrow as Win struggled through her words, waving Bamf in the air to try and get him to release his shirt still. Noah stilled when Winter said she was pregnant and Noah's mouth fell open a bit. Blinking once, Noah shook his head, the worry going from his mind. "That's not funny. I know women need excuses to be randomly moody during the day, like the 'period'" Noah even did the marks in the air with his one free hand, "but that's serious shit. Not cool, Winnie." Putting Bamf down on the carpet, Noah leant back, his eyes going back to the television before they flicked back up to Winter and her serious face. "Winter..." Noah said unsure but at her face, Noah's own eyes widened a bit and dropped to look at her stomach as if he was worried an alien would rip itself out. " Please tell me your joking..." Noah couldn't direct his eyes from her stomach.

YOU KNOW ME, I DON’T TAKE THINGS SERIOUSLY! What to do, what to do. Garret thought as he mindlessly flipped through the three hundred some odd television and movie channels he had. Why was there never anything good to watch when he was bored? He took a swig of the beer in his hand and stifled a yawn. So far, the day had turned out to be shitty. He had woken up to trash strung about his apartment. Apparently McDuff had decided he wanted a midnight snack, and had gotten into the trash to string out ever single thing that Garret had thrown away in the last week. Sure, Garret could be to blame for not taking out the trash, but he wasn’t going to admit that. He shot a glare at his dog as he thought about it. Wasn’t that the best thing to wake up to? Having to pick up trash all over your apartment? To make matters worse, he had opened the fridge and poured himself a glass of milk. Taking a big swig of it, he realized that it was two weeks expired. Deciding he wasn’t not giving the day a chance to completely suck, he decided to stick to something safe…watching television was safe right? No. It was fucking boring because nothing was ever on it seemed. Picking up his phone, he texted Kelley to see if he wanted to do something. A few minutes later Kelley texted him back saying that he couldn’t, apparently Grace was going to watch Dayna so Kelley could take Effie out. That still made Garret raise a brow. He liked Effie, he really did, but it still shocked him that Kelley and her were still dating. He knew the kind of girls that Kelley dated, and she was nothing like them at all. Granted, Dayna hadn’t been either, but Effie wasn’t like the sluts Kelley dated, and she certainly was nothing like Dayna had been. Garret never held it against her like Adelaine did, as he was certainly a person who dated several types of people and he wasn’t a fan of always being a hypocrite. Plus, Kelley seemed happy, and he knew that Effie was, and he supposed that was all that mattered.
He texted Kelley back, calling him a douche and telling him to text him later if he was free. He scrolled down his contact list and stopped when it highlighted Jayden’s number. They had been dating for about two weeks now, and he basically spent every free moment with her. Sometimes he wondered if he smothered her. Kelley had hinted once that he thought Jayden was a rebound, but hadn’t directly said it, or hinted at it since. He was thankful for it, as it had kind of unsettled the boy. He decided text her and see if she wanted to come over. Taking another swig of his beer, he deeply frowned when she said she was sorry but she would have to rain check as she was hanging out with Cash. The only thing that sucked worse than your girlfriend being too busy to hang out with you, was her being too busy hanging out with a guy you would love to punch in the fucking face instead of hanging out with you. With an aggravated sigh, Garret threw his phone across the room, not bothering to text her back. He finished off his beer and tossed the bottle towards the trash can, not really caring if it made it or not. He glanced around the apartment. Damn, he had really let it go to hell since Mason moved out and Grace broke up with him. He thought about getting up and actually cleaning for once, but then quickly decided against it. He usually went over to Jayden’s, and Benjamin was the only one who really came over any more. There was no reason to clean up. Grace had always been the one who could make him clean, and now that she really wasn’t in the picture so much, he just didn’t have a reason to care. Sure…the two were still friends, but it wasn’t the same…it was really just painful and awkward. He kind of avoided her when he could, as just looking at her caused his heart to hurt. Just thinking about her now was making it hurt.
With a sigh, he pushed himself off the couch to retrieve his phone. When in doubt, call Noah. He wasn’t going to call him today, as he didn’t want to accidently spill his plans on pranking him during his next concert, but desperate times called for desperate measures, and Garret was definitely desperate. He quickly texted him, telling him that he was on his way over, regardless of whether or not the boy had plans. Throwing on some dark jeans and a shirt that he hardly ever wore, he covered his head with one of his signature beanies, threw on shoes, grabbed a beer from the fridge and headed for Noah’s. He didn’t bother driving, as it was only a block or two, and he welcomed the brisk wind that nipped at his bare neck. In all honesty, what everyone considered ‘cold’ in LA was really warm in any of the upper or eastern states. This was Garrets favorite time of year. He opened up his beer and took a sip as he approached the door to Noah and Winter’s apartment. He did not even bother to knock, he just let himself in like he always did. He smirked slightly at Noah’s greeting. “Hey douchenugget. What’s crackalackin?”
he asked with another smirk. That was his typical greeting to everyone, and he was convinced it was hella awesome, not matter how many people told him that he wasn’t black. His eyes instantly perked when Noah mentioned nachos. As if on cue, his stomach growled and Garret let his free hand rub it. “Fuck, that sounds good Noah, make me some bitch.” he said with a laugh as he sat down on the couch and propped his feet up on the coffee table, taking another sip of his beer. ‘Rough night? Does Caleb even know what sex is?” he laughed. Garret could help but shake his head when Noah burnt himself on the nachos. He leaned forward and grabbed the plate away from Noah’s hand before taking a big bite. Handing the plate back to Noah, he caught the remote and started flipping through the channels. Nothing. Nothing. Boring. Stupid. Lame. Why wasn’t anything on?!? He finally just settled on some weird ass documentary about seashells and their importance in society. He raised a brow as Noah stood up and lifted the cushion to revile his stash. That was party of the reason Garret had come over. He needed something to take the edge off, and the beer just was not doing it. He smirked at Noah’s comment. “Fuck no. Hand that shit over.” he said before laughing at Noah’s ‘Thanks Mom!’. He knew that Noah’s relationship with his mother sucked ass. Hell, his relationship with his mum made Garret seem like he was best mates with his own mother. Garret took the other half of the pamphlet to roll his own before kicking back and smoking it. Would he get a real high off of it? Nah, it wasn’t enough, but it would definitely loosen him up, and maybe help him find humor in things today. He almost didn’t feel bamf tugging at his jeans, and by time he did look down, then dog had already made his way over to Noah. Before Garret could really comment, Winter appeared looking rather ill. Hmm, maybe Noah meant she had a rough night throwing up, it certainly appeared that way. Before she could get the word pregnant all the way out, Garret busted into laughter. He was laughing so hard he didn’t hear a word that noah was saying, and he ended up falling off the couch and onto the floor. “Winter…hahahahhahahahaha… Pregnant? Hahahaha bu-bu-but hahahaha that isn't hahahaa possible.” Finally gaining a bit of composure, he looked up at her from the floor. “Seriously. Thank you. I needed that laugh. Now really. What do you need?” [/blockquote][/blockquote] Winter and Noah, 1,369 words. OUTFIT, sorry it sucks?

Winter barely remembered her convorsation with Noah when he found her in the bathroom. What she did remember was feeling sick for a week or so straight. It didn't make much sense to her. She remembered the first day she started throwing up she thought maybe it had just been something she had eaten. She really had thought little of it. The second or third day was when it began worrying her. Win never got sick let alone threw up. She couldn't remember the last time she actually was sick. Well, she had pretended to be sick a lot to get out of going to school. It got to the point where her mother just let her skip because she knew she was pretending. Her mother either let her go or threatened to take her to the doctor's. That made Winter get up and go to school for sure. She hated the doctors more than pretty much everything. Getting her to go was more of a chore than anything else. Even the time she had broken her leg, she had insisted it would heal itself. Her parents had to literally drag her to the hospital and she had went kicking and screaming dispite her broken leg. That was part of the reason she was trying to be quiet about things and not let Noah know she was sick. He might want her to go see a doctor and she would not be doing that anytime soon. He would have to drag her just like her parents had.
Making her way back to her room with the pup in hand, she fell asleep for a couple hours. She was up again and silently made her way to the bathroom where she threw up once more. This was getting ridiculous. She wondered what she had. The stomach flu maybe? But wouldn't Noah or anyone else who was around her a lot have gotten it too? She heard it was highly contagious. That and she didn't know of anyone else who had it right now so how would she have gotten it? She frowned at the taste in her mouth as she rinsed the sink out and began digging for her toothbrush. When the pregnancy test came into view, she paused and thought. Morning sickness. But it wasn't always just the morning? She got sick at all random hours of the day. She had no idea how Noah had not noticed it to be honest, but she was glad. Picking up the box, worry ran through her head. There was no way she could be pregnant, right? She was just being silly.. right? Sure she had had scares before but it had only been because her period had been a few days late. Thinking now though, when was the last time she had had her period? She was supposed to get it two weeks ago. Oh no. When was the last time she had had sex? Her and Caleb had about three weeks ago. Her eyes widened and she felt herself begin to shake slightly.
She tore open the box and read the directions quickly. She did as they said and placed the small test stick on the sink. She would have to wait anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes. This was torturous! She paced the bathroom floor while waiting. She felt even more sick to her stomach with worry. Glancing at the time and basically falling over herself to reach the test, her mouth dropped open as she looked at it. "Positive.." Her voice was only a whisper and she had to look at it and the directions ten times to see if she was seeing correctly. She set the strip down. Maybe it was wrong. Maybe it wasn't ready yet. She bit her bottom lip and opened the bathroom door just a crack because she distantly heard Bamf whining. She watched the small dog try to get the boy's attention. The guys. How the hell was she going to tell her best friends she was pregnant!? She wasn't because she wasn't pregnant. Right? She picked up the stick again and felt herself pale as the sign remained the same. Positive. Winter was pregnant. She had to tell Noah and Garret. They were her best friends and maybe they could tell her she was just seeing things and she was just sick and they could drag her to the hospital and prove everything was okay.
Winnie gripped the test strip like her life depended on it but made sure it was hidden in her hand as she exited the bathroom. She walked over to Noah and Garret who were getting their fix and watching some documentary on tv. She paid little attention to any of it and felt completely numb as she began speaking. She could feel herself shaking and heard her voice crack as she made out the words 'I'm Pregnant.' She felt like she was in a whole nother place, a whole nother body. This wasn't her life, was it? Was she actually pregnant? She heard Noah tell her that that wasn't something to joke about, that that was serious. Her eyes widened slightly and her jaw dropped a bit. Why the hell would she joke about something like this!? Her eyes only widened that much more as Garret lost it and fell off the couch to the floor laughing. She watched in almost horror at the two thinking she was joking. A lump in her throat formed slightly but it only grew as Garret gained himself and asked her what she really needed. She couldn't make out any words for a moment. She simply felt herself drop the test onto the floor as her body basically let go in disbelief that they weren't taking her seriously. Bamf jumped from Noah's lap and picked up the test in his mouth and dropped it at the guy's feet. He really was a smart dog, however, Winter paid little attention to it now.
Winter broke down. Collapsing from a standing position to sitting indian style on the floor, the drummer began to sob. Her elbows rested on her knees and her head rested in her hands as she cried. Winter never cried. She couldn't help herself now though. She was completely lost, frustrated, confused and scared. "I can't have a baby!" She sobbed, a bit muffled, into her hands before picking her head up slightly to look at her two best friends. "I'm nineteen years old! I'm in a band! I.. I do drugs!" Her words were broken up in between sobs. "I'm going to be a horrible mother!" She picked her head up again, eyes wide and scared, "What if my kid hates me?! What if they turn out like me!? I can't have my kid be a whore!" She was rambling now, thinking of all the worst things that could happen. She couldn't help it though. All these thoughts were coming to her head and she was genuinely scared. "What if Caleb freaks out and leaves me!? I CAN'T RAISE A KID ALONE!" She was really freaking out now. She really cared about Caleb and wanted to be with him for a long time, but she had never thought about kids! She had actually been set on never having kids ever. That was out of the picture now though. A million worries ran through her mind as she cried on the floor. This was too much for the nineteen year old.

- - - - - - - - - - Noah let Garret it and they exchanged the usual greeting to each other. It was surprising that anyone really let them near each other considering the names Noah and Garret always seemed to end up in the same sentence as trouble. Hell, Noah's rather shortened stay in Ireland with him could be used a prime example. He was still trying to pay off the debt that the excursion had created, plus his hand was still bandaged up a bit from when he'd burnt it. The amusing thing was he still didn't know how it happened, although Noah suspected it was something to do with the bill for a new pool table as well as costs for fire damage. Perhaps he'd gone a little over board that night with the drugs, both his cocaine and the weed the two of them shared. He had been woken up on a park bench by a police officer after all. Embarrassing much. Tapping his feet on the ground, Noah waited for the beep of the microwave to signal the nachos were ready. Perhaps not the healthiest but hell, he never claimed he could cook and Winter was apparently in no mood to help him out. Greasy take out probably wasn't what she would have wanted to smell coming from the kitchen anyhow. Sitting to his seat, he let Garret pick the choice of tv. Normally he would bicker with anyone that messed with the choice of viewing but Garret would moan like a bitch consistently if he put something lame on, and there was nothing on now anyway. Truthfully, he had been prepared to play Call of Duty all day. Fucking Garret.
Taking out his drugs and letting his friend take some, Noah used the pamphlet that his mother was consistently sending to their apartment for religious redemption for his roll up. Sure, he felt a little guilty when he did it but there was better ways around it that his mother could have used to try and get him off drugs. Not that it would really work. Everyone seemed to be trying to do their bit for society and help Noah out. No thank you. It seemed stupid to him that everyone seemed to think it could just be done with a click of your fingers. Not for someone that been getting high on cocaine for over four years now. Noah tilted his head a little at the tv screen and the explanation of the different shapes of sea shell. Noah found that if he tilted his head even further so it was horizontal, one of them looked a bit like the shape of a kangaroo. "Holy shit..." he exclaimed, rather highly but quietly. Messing around with Bamf, it was then that Winter made her appearance in front of them, her words crackling as she spoke. Bamf was still gnawing on his shirt but he stopped the second Winter said those dreaded words of I'm Pregnant. Pausing for a moment, Noah let the dog down on the floor and commented how she shouldn't be making stuff like that up. It wasn't cool. A baby was a serious thing, hell, Noah had heard all the stories from his father about teenage pregnancy. Plus, if you hadn't heard, kids hated him. His green eyes darted and watched Garret fall on the floor, creased in laughter and his own smirk appeared at the sight.
Noah looked back at Winter and his eyebrows raised slightly behind his long fringe. She looked... deadly serious. His eyes dropping to her stomach, Noah blinked at it and continued with his almost pleading of her to tell him that it was an April fools. For the love of God himself. Noah saw something drop from her pocket but Noah was too busy staring at Winter's flat stomach. Surely not. Bring his eyes down sharply at the bark of their dog, it took Noah a millisecond to bring his legs up off the floor and against his body on the couch, his skinny figure pulling in on itself. That was a pregnancy test. Eww. Winter had pee'd on that. Tilting his head again slightly, Noah saw the symbol on the test and his eyes widened, darting to Garret and then back to Winter just in time to see her collapse on the floor. His mouth fell open in shock. He never remembered seeing Winter cry before. Sure, she had cried apparently to everyone but him about his incident a few weeks back now but despite the weed he'd smoked, for the most part, Noah was aware of what was happening. Looking at his best friend with wide eyes and an open mouth, his body still curled in, Noah couldn't move. Winter started speaking to them both and it was only then did he blink again, what the hell was happening? Was this real? Noah frowned quite obviously when Winnie declared how she would be a bad mother. That wasn't true at all.
The words "I CAN'T RAISE A KID ALONE!" was what finally made Noah move, pulling himself quickly off the couch and onto the floor beside Winter. Wrapping his arms around her, Noah pulled his best friend into a strong hug, his chin resting on her head as he gave her one of the best hugs he could. "Oh Winnie..." Noah was somewhat at a lost to say. He'd never been very good at this. Sure, he would have had to have done it as a doctor but at the point, he could have been disconnected with so many things, so many injustices of the world. This was his best friend here in a life changing situation. "Winter, even if Caleb does leave... which he won't," Noah had a look in his eye as he looked at Garret for a moment signalling that he would not let Caleb walk out, "you still have everyone." Pulling her head from his chest a bit, Noah tried to look into Winter's eyes, his thumbs wiping ever so lightly under her eyes to get rid of the tears. "Maybe we aren't the best," the thought of Noah and Garret looking after a baby themselves was something indeed but he could try and get a laugh from her nonetheless, "but you have everyone else. Savannah and Kylie both love kids. Kelley has his own kid. We're all a huge family so your definitely not alone." Wrapping his arms properly around Winter again, Noah gave her a careful hug once more.
