she's dancing alone, i'm ready to go BUT SHE'S SO LOST IN THE STEREO, LOST IN THE STEREO today was going to be awesome, parker could just feel it. it was one of those days where, no matter what you woke up to, no matter how bad the weather was or anything like that, it was going to be awesome. sure waking up to hearing pouring rain outside wasn't exactly the most of encouraging sounds, but it wasn't like parker hated rain anyway. it was weird, he knew, but as long as he wasn't outside getting all soggy and damp in the rain, he was perfectly fine wit hit. there was just something about being inside, in the warm whilst hearing rain pound against your roof that made everything seem ten times more warm and cosy, and if it was any other day parker would have to drag himself out of bed unwillingly, most probably. but not today, for today he was going out on his first date with lacey. it was weird, actually, calling lacey his girlfriend - not in a bad way of course, it'd just been .. well, years since he'd actually called someone his girlfriend. he just didn't seem to be very good at dating and everything had ended up tits up in the past, so for the past few years he just hadn't bothered, to save himself from all the drama and shit that seemed to come with it. he wasn't exactly sure why that had all changed now, but it would probably have something to do with lacey and how she was worth it. because she was, and the thought of her made him smile and feel awkward and nervous at the same time.
to be honest, he wasn't sure why but he was really nervous. who knew, she could just have been fucking around with him when she agreed to go out with him a couple of days ago. she could've been joking, because, really, why would someone like her want to go out with someone like him? she deserved better and that was obvious. sure, it wasn't like his other relationships had started out so badly so why he was stressing over this he wasn't sure, it had never happened before. oh well. he'd find out in a couple of hours anyway, haha. he was pretty sure the only reason he was actually nervous about their, well, 'date' today was that he was probably going to fuck something up. or lacey would come to her sense and like, go off and marry benji or something. parker loved the kid, he really did, but he kind of hated him at the moment for the simple reason that he liked lacey too, and he was probably better for her. he was her best friend after all. whatever though. he was going out with lacey at the moment, and that was the only thing that mattered, right? was he supposed to like, bring flowers with him? or was that just the sort of cheesy thing that happened in chick flicks? he was pretty hopeless at this whole dating thing, right? besides, what sort of movie were you supposed to watch anyway on a date? did it matter? would it count against you if you didn't go and watch some soppy love story? or was he just supposed to let lacey choose? what if she was expecting him to choose? shit. on that happy note, he rolled out of bed.
his hair looked stupid. why, today of all days, did his hair have to look stupid? he tried flattening it with his hands, to no avail. frowning at his reflection in the mirror. oh well. it didn't matter, it was okay, he was going to have a shower and that'd flatten his hair down, right? besides, the moment he stepped outside he'd be soaked to the skin. and they'd been sitting in a dark movie theatre, it was okay. he was probably over thinking too much, like usual. he showered quickly, not quite sure what the time was but praying he wasn't late. it didn't seem like that late anyway, but parker's time keeping skills were quite abysmal. for all he knew he could be over an hour late, although, to be fair, the chances of him sleeping in that much were very slight. once he was out- which basically, you know, meant the hot water had started to become not so nice and warm - he quickly dried himself, leaving the wet towels on the floor, because, hey, he could clear them up later, or maybe they'd magically put themselves on the rack to dry, who knew? he got dressed awkwardly, balancing on one foot as he pulled up a pair of black skinny jeans he'd found which were actually lacey's most probably, maybe she wouldn't notice, and an escape the fate tshirt before grabbing his phone and checking the time. he had about an hour, maybe? he was supposed to be at the cinema at twelve, he had plenty of time. he wasn't even sure what movies were on. was he supposed to have checked? he wasn't sure, but it didn't matter, they could choose when they got there, hah.
he turned his strengtheners on, waiting for them to heat up as he tried once again to flatten his hair. it kind of looked like he'd been hit by lightening. maybe he should just stop sleeping for good, that would cure bed hair, right? sure it'd have it's downs, but stopping his hair form sticking up all over the place must outweigh the cons. maybe? actually, no, it probably didn't, but whatever. he straightened his hair quickly, watching the steam rise up from his hair as he did so, and was just about to go back and check the time to see how much longer he had when zero tackled him. it wasn't that his dog was huge or anything, he was quite small to be honest, but when he wanted something he could near enough tackle parker to the ground, which wasn't that hard to be honest. 'aw, fuck off zero, i can't take you for a walk now,'
he moaned, pushing his dog gently down to the floor as he whined and looked up at parker. you know, it hasn't that hard to imagine that, if zero had fingers, he'd be raising his middle one right up at parker right now. it was probably a good thing that was impossible with paws. finally though, he managed to step over zero and grabbed his phone, flipping it up and looking at the time. it was twenty to eleven. it' take him around ten minutes to drive to the cinema, if he didn't hit any traffic, so it was probably a good time to go now. he grabbed his hoodie and pulled it up over his head, pulling his hood up as he grabbed his keys and headed down. it wasn't raining quite so hard but it was still pretty hard and he sploshed quickly towards the car, sliding into the front seat and slamming the door behind him as he did so before pulling his hood down and checking that his hair hadn't been ruined. god, he was so vain. in a good way though, if there was a good way of being vain, which was doubtful. he started the car, before driving tot he cinema, blasting some random music channel as he did so. he wasn't quite sure what radio it was, but hey, he was too lazy to change it. finally, he pulled up outside the cinema. he was about five minutes early, but that was okay, it was better than being five minute late. he parked before pulling his hood up once more so his hair didn't get wet and quickly walking into the cinema. it wasn't all that aesthetically pleasing but it was a pretty badass cinema, and it had a load of good films on usually. he pulled his hood down, running a hand through his hair as he waited for lacey to arrive.[/blockquote] TAG: lacey/ sammiee <3 WORDS: one thousand three hundred and thirty eight :] NOTES: meh, not sure whether i like it or not xDD STATUS:finished CREDITS:template by RINA SAYS RAWR ! of caution 2.0 [/blockquote]

Pitter patter pitter patter pitter patter pitter patter BOOM! Lacey woke with a start. Stupid thunderstorm. Lacey wasn’t afraid of too many thing, but Thunderstorms terrified her. Waking up fully, she shot a glare at the window in her room. As the thunder shook again, it made her jump in her bed. Well, it was as good of a time as any to get up and start the day. What was today anyway…oh. It was Saturday. OH WAIT! IT WAS SATURDAY!! What time was it? Shoot, ten o’clock! She had to meet Parker at twelve for their first official date. It seemed weird to say. Not weird that she was going to the movies with Parker, but weird that they were actually together. Sure, Lacey had harbored a crush for the kid for the longest time, and she flirted with him almost every time they were together, but she flirted with everyone. That’s the reason she never thought anything of it when he flirted back, because, well, that was he nature. In a word, the boy was a manwhore, and everyone knew it. Maybe that’s why it was so weird. she never thought that he would actually want commitment, and certainly never thought that he would want to commit to her. Not that she was complaining, the thought of it made her absolutely giddy.
Climbing out of bed, she jumped in the shower to wash up real fast. Getting out, she turned her straightener on as she searched for something to wear. Ugh, all these clothes had been worn so many times, she needed to go shopping again very soon. She settled on a faded pair of skinny jeans, and her Spongebob Nerdpants shirt. Pulling her hair up in sections, she straightened one section at a time as she watched some reality show that was playing on the TV in her bed room. After she finished, she applied a minimal amount of make up, and topped her head with a fashionable beanie type hat. Throwing on her converse, she looked herself over in the mirror. Eh, it wasn’t her best, but it would do. They were spending the majority of the time in a dark theatre anyway, right?
Getting into her little orange Bug, she slid in a favorite mixed cd of hers as she drove to the movies. She hated driving in the rain. It made other people drive like idiots, and the roads were always so dang wet. She sang along to one of her favorite songs as she sat at a red light. She glanced at the car next to her, which held two teen boys who were apparently way into their music as well. The guy in the passengers seat was dancing all over the place, he kind of reminded her of the boys in the band. Usually hyped up and always moving. Apparently the driver had pointed out that she was watching, as the kid in the passengers seat glanced over and turned really red. She smiled at them, and drove ahead as the light turned green. Had it been her, she wouldn’t have been embarrassed. She was always bouncing about something, or randomly dancing in places. She had dragged Lennon shopping with her once, and when they were in Hot Topic, one of her favorite songs came on and she just randomly started dancing infront of the shirts. Sure, she had gotten weird looks, but hey, it’s who she was.
Pulling into the movie theatre parking lot, she sighed a little as the rain continued to pour down out side of her car. Pulling her hood up and over her hat, Lacey braced herself to go out into the ice cold rain. It always amused her that the rain was so cold in California, how did that work? She walked as fast as she could to the doors without actually running. Wouldn’t that be great? To take off running towards the door and slip and fall in a water puddle. She was sure that would definitely impress Parker, he’d never let her live it down, not for a billion years. Grabbing the handle of the door, Lacey pulled it open. Dang, the door was heavy! Walking in she slid her jacket off and shivered slightly ‘Brrr. I hate the rain.”
she said with a smile as she walked over to where Parker was standing. She stood there for a moment, uncertain what to do. Should she hug him? That’s how she normally greeted him before they actually decided to date. It seemed appropriate, but would he think that she forgot it was a date? She wasn’t certain that she should just out right kiss him. I mean, that was just…just…oh she didn’t know. Offering him a handshake would just seem way to strange, and he would think that she didn’t want to be here or something. If she didn’t do something soon, he was probably going to think that she was mentally challenged all of a sudden or something. See, this is why she shouldn’t have just slept with a guy after flirting. If she had actually had a boyfriend before Parker, she would know exactly what to do. Contemplating for only a second more, she said “Hey Parker!” with a smile and then wrapped her arms around his neck to hug him, and planted a kiss on his cheek. That seemed sort of appropriate, right? She hoped so. Stepping back she looked around. “So, what do you want to see? I really don’t have a preference so whatever you want is legi- Are those my pants?” [/blockquote][/blockquote] Parker<3 words<3 outfit<3 Its short, and crappy, and poorly written and UGH, forgive me? <3

she's dancing alone, i'm ready to go BUT SHE'S SO LOST IN THE STEREO, LOST IN THE STEREO it had been such a long time since parker had actually gone on a proper date. he wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do when he greeted lacey either, and there was a nagging sensation somewhere in the pit of his stomach that told him he should've brought flowers, or something like that. he wasn't quite sure why, but girls liked that, right? he felt kind of silly for not even knowing what lacey's favourite flowers were. how hopeless was he? maybe h should've stayed completely clear of the whole dating thing like he'd been doing perfectly well or the past couple of yeas, it was obvious he wasn't cut out for it. he wasn't even sure why he had asked lacey out - you know, apart from the obvious. sure, he liked her loads and loads and was terrified that someone else would pick her up and whisk her away and he'd never be able to tell her the truth, but what had told him to tell her right then and now he wasn't sure. oh well. he wasn't going to fuck this up. he kept telling himself this, and hopefully if eh repeated it enough in his head, nothing would go wrong. it wasn't even like much could go wrong in a movie theatre, but he was bound to go wrong somewhere. he'd pick a horrible film, or he'd spill something or say something stupid... the possibilities were endless. was he supposed to be thinking positive? oops. that hadn't gone too well, right? oh well.
he glanced around the foyer of the theatre, trying to see what movies were on so it'd look like he'd done his research before he got here. he didn't actually recognize mot of the film titles, which kind of sucked. there was a film about mozart on though, but that'd probably be piss boring, right? besides, he wasn't even sure whether lacey would be interested in that - it was hardly date material, right? luckily though, there was one movie playing that he recognized - it was something called blazing saddles... but then again, was that even date material? he wasn't sure. apparently it was super funny, but it was also a western movie... okay, he was totally confused now, he'd leave it until lacey got thee. hopefully she'd recognize more of the film titles, sure, new beverly cinema was pretty well known for picking up obscure films that nobody had heard of yet are pretty fantastic, or films that no-one has seen in years... but it became rather hard when you wanted to see a movie and had no idea what they were all about. maybe they'd just have to spin around with their arm outstretched and whichever film they landed on, they'd go watch? that would make it easier, but it could also backfire pretty nastily. instead of thinking about what film they were going to watch, he instead watched the rain still pouring down outside. really, okay, he didn't mind rain, usually, but this was just a bit stupid. the one day in which he had hoped it'd be super nice and sunny and all that lovely stuff.... and it fucking poured? that was pretty depressing, right?
finally though, lacey arrived, and he couldn't help himself as he smiled as soon as he saw her. it was quite stupid, really, but even before they had started going out, he just liked hanging out with her because she made him smile and laugh... and because he'd had a crush on her for ages and ages and tried to hang out with her as much as he could, which she hadn't seemed to object to. before, he'd thought that it'd be easy just never speaking up about how much he really liked lacey - y'know,, it'd be easy to keep a secret an he'd be cool with never telling anyone because he wasn't really up for dating anymore. but god, that's petty much changed. and maybe it's a bit weird that he's suddenly started dating again, after a few years or so since his last failed attempt at a relationship, but it was a good weird, and he would hopefully not fuck it up, and he was hoping that lacey wouldn't either, although, to be fair, he could see why she'd maybe want to ditch him once found someone better. it was super weird, actually, that he was worrying so much about this. he really shouldn't. he'd gone to the movies loads of times before with her and noting like this had ever happened before. and it wasn't like anything had changed really. they were just, well, going as boyfriend and girlfriend instead of just really tight friends. it was really nothing to be nervous about, surely?
he'd zoned back into reality as he felt her arms around his neck and her lips on his cheek. 'hey,' he said with a grin. 'i'm glad you're here, d'you mind giving me some of your good looks? i'm sure you have lots to spare.' he grinned at her before she asked him what movie he wanted to watch. 'uhm..' he started, spinning around to look at the list of movies again 'wellll, i really don't care? i hardly know what half of these movies are, d'you recongiz-' he stopped in the middle of his sentence as he realized she had said something after telling him he could pick the movie. ' uhm. well. they might be yours. but i found them in my apartment. which means, really, that they are mine? or, at least, i am borrowing them?' he asked with a slight grin, turning back to look at her again. 'really, you should be pleased that i am wearing something of which you approve of, surely? and that i'm not showing you up with my horrendous fashion, right?' he asked, with a slight laugh, fully facing her now as he shoved his hands carelessly into his pockets. 'anyway. movie wise, uhm, i really don't care, to be honest. i don't really want to pick a movie you're not gonna enjoy,' he explained, 'i'd feel better if you chose it,' he said with a grin, staring down at his shoes awkwardly and hoping they weren't just going to keep telling each other to pick a movie, or something, haha.
although, to be fair, he wouldn't really have minded too much, so long as he got to hang with lacey. he was becoming quite pathetic wasn't he, really? just thinking about what the younger him would've thought about how much he liked lacey made him want to laugh. he would think he was totally fucked but right now, he was totally thinking the opposite. and that was good, right? it wasn't like he was searching for younger him's approval. the only person he actually wanted to impress right now was lacey, but whether he was doing a good job of that so far, who knew? he just seemed to be talking a lot which, he, he did a lot anyway. he always seemed to talk and get sidetracked and he wasn't sure whether that was a good trait of his, or not. he just had a lot to say, but whether it annoyed lacey or not, he really didn't know. 'so, uhm, yeah,' he said finally - he really did have a way with words. 'you look really, really nice, by the way,' he added, realizing he hadn't actually commented on that before, but hey, she did.

She smiled softly as Parker asked her if she would mind giving him some of her good looks as he was sure she had lots to spare. “Well I would Parker, but that would make you look even better than you already do now, which would throw us out of balance even more so than we are already, and we cant having you look too much better than I do, otherwise some other girl will come and snag you away from me, and that would make for one very sad Lacey.”
she said, giving him a very fake frown. In all honesty, that was one thing that she was slightly concerned about. She seen some of the girls that Parker had slept with. And Granted yes, sleeping with someone and dating them was two totally different things, but still, if he could manage to sleep with girls that gorgeous, he could surely get a supermodel looking girlfriend, right? Right. She still wasn’t exactly sure what exactly he saw in her, but she wasn’t exactly going to question it either. She had liked him for far too long to let this all get messed up now. She was pulled from her thoughts with a grin when he said that she should be pleased that he was wearing something she at least approved of. “I guess you are right. In all honesty, I am just jealous that you look better in my jeans than I do. “ she said, giving him a playful wink. She scrunched her face for a moment when he told her that he didn’t care which movie they saw, and he didn’t want to pick a movie she wouldn’t enjoy. This was why she should have gotten on the internet and researched which movies where playing and what they were about. When he told her he’d feel better if she chose, she got an idea. “Well, honestly. I know nothing about any of the movies that are playing, but I don’t want this to turn into one of those things where we stand here for twenty minutes insisting the other person pick which movie we are going to watch. So. We’re going to settle this the only way I can think of.” And this that, she closed her eyes and spun around before stopping and pointing straight ahead. Blazing Saddles. “Well, It looks like we are watching some cowboy movie.” she said with a shrug. Really, she could care less what movie they saw. She was just happy that she got to be with Parker, and that’s all the really mattered to this girl. Dang, she was pretty pathetic. She supposed she really had a reason to be, after all, he was technically her first official boyfriend. She never really had another person who had considered them exclusive, and she was glad that she had that with Parker. She really didn’t think she could stand being with him and him also getting to be with other girls. It would drive her mad with jealousy. Really, that’s why she had always given him so much crap about him being a whore. She was jealous that he was with all of these other girls, and not with her, and she hadn’t liked that at all. Though, granted, she had never had the courage to tell him that she liked him. Even in the end, it had been him who had finally asked her out, and she frowned at the thought that if he hadn’t found the courage that they would still just be very close friends, and she would still be crushing on him, but still be too cowardly to tell him so. What a mess that would be. She looped her arm through Parkers, as she so often did with everyone, as he paid for their tickets. She insisted on paying for the popcorn however. She was not one of those girls who let guys pay for everything. Infact, those girls often bothered her. Why on earth should the guy be expected to pay for everything? Wasn’t a relationship a two way thing? Shouldn’t that mean that everything should be fifty/fifty? Well in her opinion it was, So she pulled out her wallet and handed the cashier her card before Parker could object or anything. She let him lead her into the theatre to find a seat. Surprisingly, they must have picked a decent movie, as the front was pretty crowded, but the back was pretty empty. “Would you want to sit in the back? That way if this movie is terribly boring, we can sit back here and make fun of it.” she said with a smirk and a laugh. She would so do it too. She often drove Benjamin crazy when they would watch movies together, he would be really into it, and she would start opening making fun of it, and it would result in him pugging up and she would be forced to get him to start laughing so all would be forgotten. As she went to sit down, she felt her phone buzz in her pocket. Hmm, a text from Kelley, normally she would have just turned her phone off, but she wanted to make sure it wasn’t something about Dayna, flipping it open. Hey. Can you babysit Dayna? Addy wants to hang. Any other time, Lacey would absolutely jump at the chance. Lacey totally adored this little girl, and it was pretty apparently that Dayna liked her. She quickly texted him back. Can’t. On a Date with Parker. =). She figured that it would be the end of it but a few seconds later he texted her back. ‘….Take him with you!! I am sure he is more of a handful then Danya.’. this caused her to laugh for a second. God, Kelley was such an ass to Parker sometimes. Be nice! Seriously…I would but this is kind of my first date with Parker so….sorry >.<’ and almost instanteiously he texted back okayokay…Fine =p…BE SAFE. She rolled her eyes at that and shut her phone off. Turning to face Parker she said, “Sorry about that, Kelley wanted to me watch Dayna and wouldn’t take no for an answer.” she said with a smile.
