the social networking site that is sweeping the nation. similar to facebook, just a lot simpler, you can update your status to whatever your little heart desires, all right? it's rather fun once you get the hang of it.

most bands favorite place to be, the recording studio! batteries not included have about a dozen studios for bands to come and record their latest songs to put on their cd's. granted, half of the time the bands can be found in their goofing off, but thats what makes them fun, right?

where the executives hold meetings with the signed bands, or where the consider new bands to sign. Other employees also meet with the bands here to discuss things such as CD designs, television apperances, and what not.

Where loads of people work their 8-4's or their 4-9's. It may not be as glamorous as the lives the bands live, but without them the bands would be as glamorous as they are. Every so often you can catch a band member in one of the offices for reasons unknown ;]

the best place to go to get merch from your favorite bands. they've got every thing from the CDs to Tshirts. maybe if you're lucky you can even run across a band member here. they often hang around the merch tents at times too, so you might be lucky!

so not every band member loves to do this, but this is what keeps fans. just an hour or two here a day will make tons of people happy. after all, they buy your shirts and whatnot, the least you can do is sign it, right? plus, its the perfect time to do those interviews that everyone wants!

everyone gets hungry right? especially if you were waiting in a long line to get your tickets for the show. here is where you can go to grab a burger or a hotdog. sure, maybe it isnt the best food, but food is food?

where the bands live out their dreams. this is the main stage where the bands perform for their adoring fans. this is honestly the best part of touring, and definitely the most rewarding for the band members.

the united states is definitely going to have the longest leg of the tour, seeing as they have to hit ... well fifty or so cities, if you know your geography, unlike some of the people on tour.

yes, two areas under one board, get used to it. canada and mexico have some stops on the tour as well, so if you want to go to canada, eh, or try a real mexican taco, you will definitely have a chance.

yep, here's the doubling up again. europe and asia also have a few dates on this tour as well, so we can't exclude them. they actually have a big part of the tour as well; about twenty to thirty stops total, so.

hollywood bowl is a famous amphitheatre, named 'bowl' because of the shape of the hillside it's carved into. it's primarily used for music performances and you can find hundreds of music events being booked at this venue every year. it's pretty awesome, but it's outside so you might want to bring a coat in chillier weather...

ask any well known band, and they'll tell you before they became big, they performed at spaceland. it's a great venue for promising new bands - people go there to hear the music, which is really what it's all about. loads of people flock here every night, and although it's not your typical la venue, it more than makes up for that.

although ford amphitheatre is near hollywood bowl, and is much smaller, many people rave about the place. it's also an outdoor venue, but it's small enough to be really intimate - and plus, you can preorder picnic baskets full of cookies and wine to eat/drink whilst you watch an awesome band play!

voted by many as the best italian restaurant in la, cicada restauant is truly stunning. two storeys high with beautiful white tabeclothes and polished mahogany pillars, it really is a beautiful sight. and lets not forget the food, whch is pretty amazing. the menu also changes twice a year, to keep the restaurant alive and unique.

south coast plaza is the biggest and most visited shopping mall in the country. it is huge - it covers nearly 130 acres, and contains two seperate indoor malls as well as outdoor attractions. whatever you need, you will most definitely find here. just don't get lost!

ignore the title. the cinema isn't new. it's a little worn out, the seats are old, it's not all glitz and glamour, although in recent years the cinema has had a bit of a face lift. however, if you ignore the less than stellar appearence, you won't regret going to new beverly cinema. first of all, it's cheap, and they have the knack to finding the most amazing, quirky, artistic movies, as well as old, lost classics that no other cinema would dare show anymore. plus, the hot dogs are awesome. trust me.

in the west of la is a huge borders shop. full to the brim with all the books you need, it also has a superb cafe that not only gives you great coffee and yummy food, but also free food samples to try if you want to. the staff are very friendly, and it's an ideal place to spend a couple of hours if you want to get away from the mayhem of real life!

just around the corner of the bni studios is this park. it's fairly big, with a few benches scattered around and a long stretch of grass, ending at a lake you can rent boats to sail out on. there's also a little children's playground, full with slides, swings and see saws... but, of course, even teenagers and adults need to find their inner child somewhere.
